How To Setup Proxy On a Mac (MacOS Ventura)?

Setting up your Proxy via Wi-FI connection:



Open your "System Settings", then select "Wifi", then click on the "Details" button of the Wi-fi you are connected to:




A new window will pop up. Simply select "Proxies" from the menu on the left, and toggle the type of proxy you wish to setup on the right side of your screen. For HTTP/HTTPS, toggle both Web Proxy (HTTP) and Secure web proxy (HTTPS), and fill out your proxy server information such as the IP, port, username, and password. For SOCKS5 proxy, simply select "SOCKS5 Proxy" from the selections. Once done, click on the "OK" button to save:



Once configured, you may then go and check your current IP address on the internet either by going to an IP checker like whoer.net or simply searching "What's my IP address" on Google search.

Setting up your Proxy via Ethernet connection:



Open your "System Settings", then select "Network", then click on the Ethernet Network you're connected to:



From the Ethernet network details, click on the "Details" button and select "Proxies" from the menu on the left, and toggle the type of proxy you wish to setup on the right side of your screen. For HTTP/HTTPS, toggle both Web Proxy (HTTP) and Secure web proxy (HTTPS), and fill out your proxy server information such as the IP, port, username, and password. For SOCKS5 proxy, simply select "SOCKS5 Proxy" from the selections. Once done, click on the "OK" button to save:
