How to set up a proxy server in Windows 11

Here's how you can easily setup your proxy in Windows 11.

First thing's first, check your device's or computer's IP address here as you will need to whitelist it from your Ace Proxies proxy plan. Once you have your IP address, please go to the dashboard and whitelist that IP address as detailed on this FAQ article and ensure you are using HTTP/HTTPS protocol in your proxy plan if you wish to access the internet using any web browser while the proxy is on.

Press Windows + I buttons on your keyboard to open the Windows 11 Settings, or simply navigate to Windows Icon on your taskbar, and select Settings.

Select Network & Internet from the right-side menu.

Select Proxy.

Under Manual proxy setup, click Set up.

Toggle the User a proxy server status to ON and enter your proxy's IP & port in the fields provided and click on Save button once done.

That's it! Once configured correctly, you can simply Google search "What's my IP address?" and it should show you the IP address of your proxy.

It's important to whitelist your device's or computer's IP address first before you configure the proxy as Windows 11 does not support Username:Password authentication; otherwise, you won't be able to access the internet.

Your proxy plan's protocol should be HTTP/HTTPS from your Ace Proxies dashboard in order to access the internet using any web browser. You can read this FAQ article for the steps if you want to change it HTTP/HTTPS.
