# For SOCKS5 Proxy Configuration

This will require you to whitelist your device's IP on the proxy plan from your dashboard in order to use SOCKS5 on Firefox. You can read this [FAQ article](https://aceproxies.crisp.help/en-us/article/how-do-i-authenticate-a-new-ips-1jyoweq/?1563456232874) on how to do that.
