# How to use Proxies in Internet Explorer?

1. Click the **"Tools"** icon in the top right corner, then click on Internet options.

2. Then click on the **"Connections Tab"**.

3. Then click the **"LAN Settings"** button.

4. In the LAN Settings, uncheck the box that says **"Automatically detect settings"**. Then in the Proxy Server Section, click the checkbox to enable **"Use a proxy server for your LAN"**

5. In the Address field, enter the IP Address of your Proxy Server, and the Proxy Server Port Number in the Port field. 

6. Press **"OK"** and then **"OK"** again to save your settings.
